Dynaco parts and Restore Kits
>> I am a believer in great sounding music, especially when this originates from vintage tube amps. That being said I also believe that where as "upgrades" have their place in trying to improve the sound of a 40-50 year old tube amp, there is something to be be said about restoring or maintaining the "original" sound the tube amplifier maker designed it for. Certain vacuum tubes also called valves, used in point to point wiring created a particular sound that offers a warm and very pleasing result to the audio amplifier
>> I offer original layout Dynaco ST-70 boards based on the original 7199 tube set they came with. Granted these tubes are getting difficult to obtain, but..... if you do not have a base from which to upgrade to ....how can you know the true original sound of your Dynaco.
>> Some "upgrades" are mandatory of course like the multi-section caps, not changing them you basically continue at your own peril. Other tweaks can be obtained with modern capacitors, like new metal film caps etc. Doing a Bias Upgrade is also an important part of restoring your Dynaco tube Amplifier.
